Just a quick update. We currently have a layover in Atlanta. The gate agent talked us into an upgrade. That is to say, she talked Kathryn into an upgrade, I said no, Kathryn pouted, and I relented.
The gate agent then promised to find us better seats in the upgraded cabin, and much to my surprise, she followed through. As a result, we’ve had three different sets of boarding passes in about twenty minutes.
