When I don’t post on my blog for several days, my immediate family members start getting nervous, so here’s a brief post until I have time to catch up.
Although I remain in excellent spirits, the last two days have been physically exhausting. However, I did find enough energy to get a few beers after dinner last night. Along with ibuprofen, it eases the soreness somewhat.
Most of the pilgrim trails serve multiple uses, typically farm or forest roads. I’ve come across an occasional tractor or postal vehicle. However, this morning’s most unusual moment was a traffic jam caused by 58 cows being led to pasture.
Some pilgrims tried to squeeze by, but the girl tending the cows advised against it.
That’s all for now. I’ll catch up again soon.
So they weren’t moooooving over?
They weren’t moooooving much at all. It was fun to watch the girl try to convince them to budge, especially the ones taking up the rear. At one point she gave the cow her sweatshirt. It worked!
This was a moooooving post!
The smell was quite moving too. Although I’m getting used to the smell of manure.
